- Prepare 200 gms of Curd.
- Prepare 2 of Sambar Onions (Finely Chopped).

- It's 1/4 tsp of Kashmiri Chilli Powder.
- You need 2 of Dry Red Chillies (Optional).

- In a small cooking vessel, add curd and whisk it well. Add water and whisk till lots of foam appear at the top. Keep aside..
- In a tadka pan, heat oil. When the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, (add dry red chillies, if you want)..
- Add ginger, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves and fry for a minute..
- Add sambar onions and fry till the onions are slightly brown..
- Add turmeric powder, methi powder and cumin powder and fry for few seconds. Add chilli powder and switch off the heat..
- Add the tadka to the whisked curd and mix well..
- Switch on the heat and cook the curry on low heat, stirring continuously, till it becomes hot. Don't let it come to a boil. Switch off the heat..
- Serve moru curry with steamed rice..
