  2. It's 1 cup of All Purpose Flour (Maida).
  3. Prepare 1 tbsp of Rice Flour.
  4. You need 1/4 tsp of Turmeric Powder.
  5. Prepare 1 tbsp of Sugar.
  6. It's 1/4 tsp of Baking Powder.
  7. Prepare of Salt (As required).
  8. You need 3/4 cup of Water.
  9. You need of Some Coconut Oil or any Oil for Deep Frying.

Kerala Style Banana Fritters instructions

  1. Mix All Purpose Flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and water in a dish and mix it thoroughly to form a semi thick batter..
  2. Add turmeric powder to the batter to colour it a bit..
  3. Peel the bananas and slice them lengthwise into half and then slice each halfway into 3 to get the thin slice..
  4. Dip the slices in the batter and coat them evenly..
  5. Heat Oil in a deep bottom frying pan..
  6. When the oil becomes hot, put the batter coated banana slices in the hot oil and fry till golden brown. Flip them in between..
  7. Remove from oil & place them on kitchen towel/paper napkins in order to drain off the excess oil..
  8. Serve hot..
